If you are an entrepreneur, you must know by now how important it is to stay on top of the latest trends and practices in the industry. Of course, there are different ways to do this, you can either attend networking events, follow media outlets specialized in entrepreneurship or listen to podcasts for entrepreneurs.

Podcasts have grown tremendously popular over the last few years, and it’s no wonder. Listening to podcasts is a great way to get some inspiration, learn from others and keep up to date in the world of entrepreneurship. What’s great is that you don’t have to sit down or make time in your agenda to listen to an episode, you can just do it while you are driving, taking the metro or exercising.

If you don’t know where to start, we are here to help you out! Here’s a list of 4 great podcasts for entrepreneurs. Even if you haven’t launched your company yet, these podcasts will inspire you to start!

How I Built This

In this podcast, Guy Raz interviews founders and innovators behind some of the world’s best known companies such as Airbnb, Tinder, Bumble, Stasher, WordPress and many more. The interviews go around how these founders built their companies, hence the name of the podcast.

Each episode is enriching because interesting ideas, thoughts and anecdotes are discussed. Think that many of the founders of these companies probably started like you, with a dream or idea that little by little they materialized and adapted to the needs of their market to turn it into a success. It’s definitely worth listening to!

A common theme repeated in many of the interviews is the importance of validating a business idea with an MVP to get feedback from your customers and improve your product from there. If you’re in the stage of building your business MVP, you can always count on VYouto save time and resources when developing user management and access management functionalities.

Startup stories – Mixergy

Weekly podcast that explores the challenges that startup founders from known companies around the world had to overcome to bring their business idea to life. In each episode, Andrew Warner brings guest speakers who have founded their own businesses and asks uncomfortable questions to dig deeper into their successes and failures.

This podcast discusses real, honest stories that are not only motivating but also valuable because the advice shared can be applied to any business idea.

Business Wars

This podcast is completely different from the others mentioned above. What makes it unique is that each episode talks about rivalries between companies that offer similar products or services, but told as a story. There are episodes about companies from all kinds of industries, for example: Nike vs Adidas, Mars vs Hershey, Blockbuster vs Netflix or Blackberry vs Iphone.

It is a very entertaining podcast in which you can learn a lot of interesting facts about companies that have been in the market for years as well as others that are newer but have succeeded thanks to their revolutionary ideas.

The Tim Ferriss Show

Last but not least, the Tim Ferriss Show! This podcast also does something different from the first two. Instead of interviewing founders or innovators, Tim Ferriss interviews successful people in all areas such as sports, investing, business, arts and more. He examines the tactics and tools these people put in practice to achieve their goals and peak performance.

This inspiring podcast has over 700 million downloads and has been ranked #1 on many occasions. Its host, Tim Ferris, is known for being a successful entrepreneur, investor and best-selling author.
