Hi,

I successfully got working perl tags generator for vim from a Russian website, which is the first one I've got working. To anyone who's new to vim, just like me: tags allow vim to jump from place to place using CTRL+] shortcut and as in Java or Object Oriented languages, jump from place to place whilist you can see a defenition and jump from the defenition to declaration. Very cool by the way.

I found myself husteling in writing unneccessary tuturials that instead of getting much-much better, get much-much worser and I really want to improve and find the way through the material people here really read.

Gang, Do you need an article on Perl tags generator for Vim?

Comment below, I need to see you're alive and reading/need it in order to procceed writing, it's very frustrating to find out I'm writing to the un-satisfied ones. Please help in order to improve.

Thanks,
Vitali

I've just used ctags to work with perl in vim:

I discovered ctags only today, after I saw this awesome package. So I guess this post is more to confirm validity of vim for people who don't see it to confirm their requirements or for those who are looking for relevant discussion (and can find it thanks to you) to fulfill that exact requirement.
