How do you know that right this frameworks are the most popular?
Where you have some data?

articles like these are total garbage imho. even if these frameworks are statistically the most used (even though nobody would ever have the true and correct numbers for everything), they should not be considered the best choice for everyone. newbies blindly follow this herd mentality and fall into the "most popular" pit. only after years of struggle they will climb out and try some other languages/frameworks only to realize they've been doing things the hard way while there were smarter ways out there all along 😜

Hi there, we encourage authors to share their entire posts here on DEV, rather than mostly pointing to an external link. Doing so helps ensure that readers don’t have to jump around to too many different pages, and it helps focus the conversation right here in the comments section.

If you choose to do so, you also have the option to add a canonical URL directly to your post.

Laravels disadvantage is that it is lightweight? What of IIS, Apache and co? Exactly what kind of "backend" is this?

Spring Boot and .NET 6 - frameworks 👍

Express.js - Has been dead for 5 years. Middleware is evil!
