In my ideal social life, I would be having a large number of friends and many of them would remain close as well. I would be a highly social individual instead of a shy and awkward boy who is invisible.
I would be able to overcome shyness and connect with others and influence the entire world. At house parties and social events, I would purposefully make my way around the room, meeting as many people as possible and asking them questions about their lives. By having a good social network, I would earn the respect and friendship with others. I would be able to show confidence in talking to strangers, maintain a good conversation and making connections with others.
Having a strong social connection is the most important factor in achieving happiness. Our brain responds to social connection in a similar way to how it responds to the pleasantness of being warm. I would have the courage and not to be afraid of social rejection.
I would be a nicer person and able to help other people. At the same time, when my friends asked me for help, I would have to ability to solve their problems and bring values to the wider community.
Besides, I would have a wife that can share secrets and be a life long partner to go through all the ups and downs in our lives, sharing our happiness moment and overcoming all the difficulties. She would be a soulmate who can understand me and support me. We would be building a family as a unit of our wider social network and community. The social connections would help us to get advice and support from people I care about, be more productive in our career and be able to make better decisions, due to different points of views from my friends to share their insights.
Together, we would be able to better understand our world objectively and achieve more things. Humans are social animals and we are working together as a team and society. This ideal social life would be collaborative instead of competitive, we are in harmony instead of war.
