I've used Hatchbox and would definitely recommend moving your stack over. It strikes a nice balance between ease of use and flexibility. Your application server(s) are bootstrapped which makes it simple to get started. Post-deployment, you have the flexibility to make adjustments because you own the underlying server. I personally prefer that level of control to something like Heroku but understand everyone's business requirements differ.
