So, I don't work with C# like... At all. But I do have opinions on this, coming from the weirder side of programming:

Macros are the perfect solution to this problem.

Given the most basic of preprocessor you could easily define a macro that would let you just scoreResumeDegree(resume, associates) as an example. Macros are a dangerous tool, as you can easily make them way too complicated for a programmer to understand and modify, but with proper discipline they easily solve code smells like this.
