I see the point you are getting at and I do agree with most of it. I haven't fully jumped on the "make everything single page!!!!" train just yet mostly because for the longest time we were just fine without it. For years we didn't need it, how come we just now need it?

You don't need a single page app to have your amazing cook book site. All you need is a database and a way to get the data from the database. A front end framework has nothing to do with that.

I do think JavaScript and full web application have their place, but can we please quit making your blog an entire web application. Most of the time it makes me navigate away. Your blog should be focusing on what a blog is about, CONTENT
