Are GIF's really useful in blog posts?
Recently I've noticed that the use of GIF's in blog posts is increasing (also here, in DEV.to) but does this have sense?
GIF's are good for explaining things during tutorials or to show some animations, but adding memes GIF's to your blog post, just to divide the content, can be very painful for the readers. It isn't simple to read fast while something is moving on top and bottom of the paraghraph.
Also, it impacts in the page weight.
What do you think about GIF's abuse?
