I have been lurking around for quite a while, but after I was baited by this article on DigitalOcean, I finally pulled the trigger and invited myself here.
I'm Tob, a software engineer at Sertis. Our work as developers here is mostly making bridges (interfaces, applications, etc.) to connect our customers to whatever our in-house AI researchers, data scientists, and data analysts produce to satisfy their needs.
I spend my time mostly working with JavaScript, as our primary tech stack is JS-focused (Node and React/Redux), but that doesn't limit me from implementing stuff in different languages like Python and Elixir. The list will eventually expand I hope.
Outside of work I mostly dedicate my time to rhythm games, primarily Japanese and mobile. Somehow I ended up developing a tool that help a community I belong to manage a certain kind of event easier, basically automating a lot of tasks so that they can focused on moderating the event. It seems that as a dev, you are bound to create something to solve someone's problem, which is really nice.
Since this place seems so nice, I think it would be great to let my voice out and participate in discussions more. Hope to have some talk with no breaks here!

We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
