Happy Halloween!

In honor of the scariest day of the year, I wanted to share a scary story. This one was recently shared with me by a contact, and comes from the technical screening stage for a technical role. As is common, it involves an automated technical test, conducted through a popular testing website, but with some special twists!

  • The proctor watches you take the test online using webcams and screen-sharing technology.
  • You will be asked to show your Task Manager to the proctor through screen share to make sure no other background applications are running.

I go through more of the details in my special bonus episode of The Tiny DevOps Podcast.

Listen, watch, or read the transcript.
