So with me being out of a job a the moment. I decided to sell off my most popular app. It is open source. And on Google Play.
I would like to keep a copy of the repository on my GitHub afterwards, to show that I designed and worked on it (up until I sell it) for portfolio purposes.
So my question here is, how exactly do I sell the ownership of the app in a secure fashion?

You can’t really sell ownership of open source software, as anyone buying it might as well fork it instead.
Yes, but they must make changes so it isn't an exact copy. That why they also have control of the software on Google Play and can as they want with it. And some open source licenses also limit the ability of using forks commercially
I believe any changes he makes are treated the exact same as any made in a fork.
