Heyaz! Just got my retraining funds confirmed today after a yearlong knockdown taking-off-earrings-and-turning-rings-around cage match with Worker's Comp here in Canada. Am clawing my way back from severe PTSD from 9 years of frontline mental health work.

Now that I finally have funding support, I gotta study like a mad dog until Feb 6th to learn WordPress and Shopify development, meaning I'm learning JavaScript, PHP, WordPress and Shopify platforms, React, Liquid, and whatever else rolls down the pike.

So very happy to finally move onward and upward!

Hi, my name is Vandolf :D

I've been developing software for Android for the past 10 years but I've started off as a full stack web/backend dev using Python/Django + AWS.

I'm looking for a place to start and share my journey on participating in the dev community. I have just been heads down working for almost a decade. I have done zero participation in forums like this. I'm hoping to change that and also hopefully make some friends in the process. I don't really have friends. I'm really introverted. I'm unable to socialize with "normal people". However, I would like to try socializing with "dev people" <3

Apart from entering a community, I'm also looking to enter the world of the open source community. I've been working on a passion project for the past 3 years and now am looking for people to join me. Perhaps create some cool Android apps with it. I already have a few ideas that I'm super excited about hehehe...

Hi folks, new to the group. A chain of events brought me here but basically I was trying to learn via "how to mine SHIBA" tutorial how to do just that but it seems to make that work I'd need an account with Binance and apparently Binance does not allow residents of the USA to join. How do I know?
Well because the first step they ask you to complete at sign up is to choose your country of origin and the USA, America, United States or United states of America is not in their drop down. Also it states so in their terms and conditions under
Eligibility: " Eligibility
By registering to use a Binance Account, you represent and warrant that (i) as an individual, you are at least 18 or are of legal age to form a binding contract under applicable laws; (ii) as an individual, legal person, or other organization, you have full legal capacity and sufficient authorizations to enter into these Terms; (iii) you have not been previously suspended or removed from using Binance Services; (iv) you do not currently have a Binance Account; (v) you are neither a United States user, a Malaysia user, a Singapore-based user, or an Ontario (Canada)-based user;......"

So the question is is there an alternative to Binance for us in the United States?

Hi EVERYONE, My name is Arthur & just join DEV community to try to learn more about APIs for developing a new Fintech platform (just in a conceptional stage) to connect newly (less than 5-10 year) programmatic advertising platforms to Fintech platform thru smart APIs to connect frontend to backend database (e.g. Oracle Bluekai, AWS...etc.).

Key is to track the cash rewards from ad to our newly built Fintech platform - wallets.

Looking for any inputs to help me to design this Fintech from ground up from anyone with full stack application with APIs connecting a "cash back"from a purchase of a front end e-commerce web site(s) to own designed wallet backend experiences to guide me.
