Oh man, what happened with pagekit is so sad.
Seems like they worked on it for 2-3 years, made it almost feature complete, and gave up on it right before the finish line.

So many pagekits out there.

Ah man, really?? I haven't worked with PHP in a few years, but I remember when PageKit came out, I thought it was, by far, the best CMS out there, not only for the developer, but the user as well. Super easy to use and develop on. What a shame they gave up on it! :(

Yeah it is a real shame.
I floated the idea of crowdfunding continued development and didn't get a positive response from that.

I m really puzzled why someone put years of work into it and went ghost since 2016, except for the occasional bug fix. Apparently the github owner will not merge submitted code either.

When i looked at the source code to see if it could be hacked on, i got really sad. It looks like what someone with a religious adherence to SOLID principles ( tons and tons of objects that only do small tasks ) would create, but there's no comments whatsoever to help create a map of execution flow or understand what's going on - just automated annotation.

I can never seem to wrap my head around code like that. Otherwise i would probably fork and start tacking on the most requested features.
