Sometimes I mount an SSHFS network share and when the connection with internet is lost I can not anything with this SSHFS device. I can't nor mount it again neither unmount it. This situation comes usually when I mount sshfs network share, forget about it and start VPN connection for a while. After disconnect VPN the SSHFS device is busy and all stuck...
In this case I open terminal and paste these commands:
pkill -KILL sshfs
fusermount -u /mount/point
After running these commands I can mount again SSHFS network share.
