Nursing is tough... I was doing it in England where the majority of the hospitals are understaffed. Furthermore some people are just there to get money and they are a nightmare to work with... But other than that, everything was the same, every single time you would have to follow protocols, charts, rules and sometimes they are just terribly done or have no sense at all.

I can see why protocols exist but I have the feeling that with every new wrong thing found, they will make some sort of chart or checkbox that will steal time to an already understaffed ward.

But... most important, I wasn't happy being a nurse.

Quitting so suddenly was maybe stupid but luckily it paid off and I can feel that this is the career I want to pursue.
