However, I can tell you that the complexity of manufacturing stems from the environmental conditions (temperatures and pressures) these parts have to endure. Think of high altitude flight, vacuum of space, and speeds needed to escape the Earth's gravitational field! Not to mention all the friction space capsules encounter on re-entry into the atmosphere. All this while trying to keep precious cargo (human life) relatively comfortable on the inside!
