I love your article because it has given me some insight into Python. Please, recently I got admission at WorldQuant University (WQU) Scientific Computing and Python for Data Science Unit. I have no basis or foundations in Python. The first phase of the course is expected to last for 8 weeks. After reading your article, I realized I have to have a strong foundation in Python, but I do not have. Please, any advice would be much appreciated. Thank You.

It's about having a decent grasp of programming concepts like arrays, functions, classes, etc. Try to go through a basic CS introductory course while doing your World Quant certificate.

Thank you for your reply. Please, with the programming concepts, do you mean the general ones or the ones on Python precisely. And with the CS introductory course, I am doing a degree program on IT so, I am thinking I already have the exposure to CS introductory or better still, what do you think Sir.

I mean the basic programming concepts and if you're doing a degree in IT then I guess you're ready to roll. Good luck :)
