Hi! I'm definitely an edge case here: started coding as a hobby in my early 40's, got an AA when Java was at like version 1.2, actually landed a gig at a software company in my hometown if Pittsburgh, moved to LA to persue my first passion, music...and now I'm 63, semi-retired BUT...determined to become competent in developing web/mobile apps for the satisfaction of doing it. And at 63, it's unfortunately true that it takes twice as long to internalize new information as it did in my 20's & 30's! So I have to really bear down. And I'm enjoying the challenge. Nice to be here!
