I think it's a great framework, really well architected and, beacause of that, simple to use, understand and extend. It has limitations and problems, because, as every one knows, it is raising just now, and it is a pioneristic framework. I see two reasons which explains its qualities. The first one is: the times are mature, the great and hard work put in frameworks like AngularJs, before, and React, after, has opened the way, prepared the ground. The second one is: it is developen in a great language capable to build well architected applications. What javascript is not, by any means, and typescript neither.
