I am currently working on a project that uses jQuery. And honestly, even though I thought I remembered the pain points, it is way worse than I recalled.
I guess we all have to thank jQuery for paving the way in so many ways. But at the same time: please stop using it! It hurts. It invites writing terrible code while providing nearly no more advantage over plain ECMA.
