Frontend vs. Backend factor

Large legacy webapp, serving millions of users, needs to be rewritten.

If it took X men years to rebuild its frontend from scratch, how long will it take rebuilding the backend from scratch?
Though question, but there must be some kind of a factor between fronend and backend rebuild.
