I want to help other people become better programmers. Particularly, write things in a way I would have liked to have seen when I was learning.
I want to delete all my offline notes and have them as articles instead. I prefer my notes to be links to resources, rather than having my own offline text notes.
That generally keep me writing. I write because I want to write so I can do those things. It's like a pull, rather than pushing myself to write. It doesn't mean that sometimes I don't feel like it though. But I feel like not being in the mood for work is different to not liking the work you do, so to speak.
One of the most salient features of our Tech Hiring culture is that there is so much bullshit. Everyone knows this. Each of us contributes his share. But we tend to take the situation for granted.
