I ordered a bunch of the new Particle Argon boards docs.particle.io/argon/ but haven't had time todo much with them. Impressive how beefy they are! With so many peripherals baked in. Have worked mostly with Arudino based guys as well in the past.
This is my favorite, strictly person project github.com/rsmets/Motion-Controlle.... MPU 650 accelerometer/gyro chip + teensy 3.2 and leds makes for a buttonless "flow" controller led cane.
