I work with db2 on IBMi on a daily basis. Recently, I've been using Jupyter notebooks with MS SQL Server in Azure Data Studio for a data migration project. The notebooks give me the possibility to easily reproduce the steps taken to transform a dataset.
I'll definitely look further into using Jupyter with db2 for i.
