Hello, I'm Ronan. I'm a San Francisco native, studying CS/Math at a community college, and I plan on transferring to a UC to finish my degree, and hopefully gradschool if all goes well. The pie in the sky dream is getting a PhD in CS.
I'm mostly interested learning most about Linux, Lisp/functional programming, and C++. Currently reading SICP, and Practical Vim. I'll probably end up more of a lurker than an active poster.
I've tried webDev, and I'm not a huge fan of it, especially front-end, but my career counsellor always starts with, make your own website. Anyone have any advice on other career paths/technologies to look into?
