I read your article, and I can say that you presented only one approach to hiring developers. If you are interested in a different point of view, I can recommend an article by my colleague on this topic: cleveroad.com/blog/app-developers-.... So I can say that when hiring developers, a lot of factors are taken into account (primarily the price). The achievements are good too, but it may not reflect reality.

Blog post has one and only one purpose: to serve as a poorly disguised company advertisement. It's an ad, no more no less, the useful informational content is exactly zero. The only good thing is that you can see that it's an ad from a distance of 10 miles away. But I'm starting to get worried about the level of quality of the articles on dev.to, time for powerful filtering to weed out the junk.
