What was your first project as a junior developer?
Also, how is the culture in your city? Do you guys have standups, and talks about latest tech?
1) My first project was to work on a cart for the rewards system of an american bank. It was quite easy, but the challenge was to make sure the site was accessible.
2) I live in Québec City, so the dev culture is quite strong, it's a small city compared to other big tach cities, so pretty much everyone knows everyone.
3) We do have a talks about latest tech, but usually it's once a year at a big tech conference called "Web à Québec" that specializes in web tech but usually goes broader.
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
We strive for transparency and don't collect excess data.
