Im very excited for it. I think it will solve a lot of the issues with the macbook fans blasting whenever compiling something in xcode. I also think its going to make cross platform development a little easier across apple devices. Overall Its exciting.
Yeah but in terms of app development there could be a question mark. Because these new MacBook are only available in the 16GB RAM variant. So even thought the new m1 chip is there, not sure if it will perform better than a 32GB RAM model.
Thats always a possibility. In my case im using an 8gb model so anything would be an improvement.
