Although I am a fresher in here, but this blog confused me in a good way, I am practicing Javascript to learn react for the same reason as you explained above, should I still go for react or is there any other programming language should I pursue??

1) ReactJS is not a programming language
2) Learn the basics of javascript
3) Learn the basics of html
4) Learn the basics of css

People will tell you no its okay to learn reactjs first. You can do that but in the history of coding frameworks would die after some time but the basics of HTML/CSS/JS are still the same as they were 20 years ago. Yes, they evolved and changed a little bit but still, they are the basis for every framework. It will also be easier for you to learn a new framework because they will build on the same fundaments
