Ball or bald? Neural networks don't care

I'll start posting here with a very funny news that I learned yesterday evening.

Some sports teams broadcast their matches using smart cameras that track the ball and keep it in frame at all times. It's cheaper than hiring operators. During one of the football matches in Scotland, the camera stopped monitoring the game, staring at the side judge - the machine vision algorithm confused his bald head with the ball.

Such a device costs about $ 1000 and an annual subscription to software that can track the movements of individual players and automatically generate cuts will cost $1100-1500 . Leaving out the bugs with bald judges, it's a useful thing for sports clubs.
