My name is Patrick Lafferty and I'm a software developer from Toronto. By day I focus on front-end webdev work (JavaScript et al.), but by night I focus on low-level systems design and write an OS for fun. I enjoy exploring the conceptual and theoretical paths, and when faced with a problem taking the one less travelled by. I love to code, learn and be exposed to new ways of seing problems, so I'm excited to join this community and share what I know.
Hi, nice to meet you! I remember back in school when I had to finish and open source OS call NachOS... It was made for academic purposes and it's online available to download and work on it... So in my OS class we had to make it work in order to pass!! That was a fun time haha, maybe you can try it sometime... It's made in C! :)
