have you been reading the smallprint on the 'connect this APP to this SMN' security permissions rights popups ?
many ask for permission to "post/tweet/write" as YOU !!!
Nimbus do it right by asking you to only give permission to read/write content "CREATED BY THIS APP"

View and manage Google Drive files and folders that you
have opened or created with this app
OMG ubuntu do it WRONG ! it seems ive given them FULL access to my goog account
MAYBE ITS TIME CHECK YOU SECURITY SETTINGS TODAY
