I want to dig in this point a little bit more: „you need to indeed show evidence that you are more productive from home.“ This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to have a bigger throughput, nor to use the saved traveling time for extra hours. But something like feeling less exhausted at the end of the day, eat more fresh and healthy, using your breaks like you couldn’t in Office (go for a walk, exercise, take a nap, cleanup dishes) and this way being more healthy and having less sick days overall. But this depends on your boss or company culture if it counts. For me the biggest improvement after being more healthy was the reduction in noise pollution, being more concentrated and making less mistakes.
