Hello Niko! It really started with writing, mainly to future me to document what I was actually doing at the moment, so I pretty much write the way I speak, making the transition to actually saying the words out loud a bit easier.
Starting out at local meetups is nice, because most of the audience (if you've become a regular attendee) are people who already know you.
It's been 6 years since I last was in NY, hopefully one day I'll get to go again and join some conferences or meetups while I'm there. 🤞
