Better Me (4 Part Series)
Saturdays are nice days to recuperate from the week. But I'm still trying to recuperate from turkey, ham, potatoes, pies, and other Christmas meal staples! It's been a lazy day, but I got some things done and I feel better about it!
Started this morning with the feeling that I had very strange dreams, but I couldn't remember a single detail. They say dreaming is a sign of good sleep patterns, but I don't sleep well. I deal with aches and pains mostly, but I don't think I rest enough either. We'll need to work that into Things to Improve.
Overall, it's been a fine day though! Woke up for yoga, let myself focus on good vibes, and came home to relax with my girlfriend.
Starting with yoga, I got a bit of a workout in, but not anything too strenuous. I had a Spam, egg, and cheese sandwich with coffee for breakfast, some hard-boiled eggs for lunch, and I'm about to make some oven-roasted chicken with carrots and potatoes for dinner. Good food and decent nutrition. I also remembered to take my multivitamin this morning, so that should help the gaps.
Today has been a mostly lazy day. I didn't have anything planned outside of cooking, but I did have to unclog my shower earlier. That was no fun, as the drain stop wouldn't unscrew so I had to break it out of the drain. Oh well, I'll just have to buy a new one. But now I'm about to start dinner, after the remaining 20 minutes left of Ip Man on Netflix.
