SQL comes easy to me, NoSQL not so much (although the only one I've tried is MongoDB). SQL comes much easier to me than object oriented programming, so the whole "framework" thing of interfacing with a database with objects rather than queries seems to me like making something harder than it is, although I've heard enough first person reports that "SQL is hard". I guess it just goes to show that neurodiversity is a thing; people are wired differently.
It's so true! Instead of asking are you left brain/right brain we could start asking are you SQL brain or NoSQL brain :) I think it's cool you feel more comfortable with SQL as that is not the norm!
