You're saying that "[...] you need to do following things to switch to HTTP/2" and then you mention using image sprites, asset concatenation etc. Those are the things you explicitly DO NOT need anymore with HTTP/2, since there is no head-of-line blocking anymore.

Using Sprites was the thing to get rid of using multiple Image files when HTTP/2 launched.
