I've been a professional C, Perl, PHP and Python developer.
I'm an ex-sysadmin from the late 20th century.
These days I do more Javascript and CSS and whatnot, and promote UX and accessibility.
My suggestion would be to add something - anything - that says what "HotTea" is. At the moment you're asking for feedback on what looks like one Javascript file with a few miscellaneous global functions in it. I don't know what it's trying to be.
I'd also steer clear of making functions or properties with names like type because that can come back and bite you.
If need be I will change the function names (I do realize the might become outdated, but it depends on other libs, and what's added to JS (suggesting what may cause possible conflicts would be nice)).
And HotTea is mentioned in my first post about it.
If that's not a good explanation, could you please make some suggestions as to what I can change/remove/add to it?

You can add a "series" option to your post's front matter if you like.
For instance, I have a series here called "Command line myths" which I set by adding
series:Command-line myths
to each post's front matter. You can see how it looks on any of the posts like dev.to/moopet/creating-files-with-...
DEV will make a little menu of them and put it automatically into the order they were posted.
That means you don't have to keep manually linking to other posts or re-visiting bits of information.
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
