I'm an ex-sysadmin from the late 20th century.
These days I do more Javascript and CSS and whatnot, and promote UX and accessibility.
I've never really thought of looking up software people on YouTube. I don't really subscribe to channels (I think I'm put off permanently by people begging me to subscribe!) but clearly YouTube is the way to find out how to do anything, ever, from cooking rice to remixing music.
I'll check these people out. Mostly I guess I'm not even sure what people would talk about if it's not a hyper-specific tutorial!
