I was fired in June 2021 from my current job. It gave me the motivation I needed to start my own company. Today we released version 1.0 of our product, which is a low-code software development automation tool and there are 4 of us in the company :)

I'm halfway through writing my 3rd book and in negotiations for writing my 4th. Both weren't on the horizon in January and my last book is from 2017 or 18.

Publishers contacted me and asked me to write both. The first is something I really wanted to write for a while (a book about debugging). Publisher noticed tweets I wrote about it. Saw a couple of my talks on debugging Kubernetes and asked me for a pitch.
I'm a friendly, non-dev, cisgender guy from NC who enjoys playing music/making noise, hiking, eating veggies, and hanging out with my best friend/wife + our 3 kitties + 1 greyhound.
Managed to effectively use more of aws-cdk (with serverless-stack) in personal and commercial projects - and managed to successfully deploy 'monorepo style' projects, with npm or yarn workspaces.
This learning journey & achievement even helped catapulted my personal projects in the AWS ecosystem - was initially planning to just accept 'manual AWS resource management' via the AWS Management Console.

Wow amazing accomplishment @polterguy you took something less good into a great opportunity to develop something yours! 🚀

That's awesome @codenameone !! Was there a trigger to do it? Or have you just felt inspired?

I went viral on twitter for roasting Ben Shapiro
