Moledao, a social platform for blockchain enthusiasts, announced today its upcoming Web 3.0 Hackathon. This pioneering global hackathon will be held in the metaverse, and take place from 15th November 2021 to 9th January 2022. Web 3.0 is the vision for the next internet generation that is decentralized, verifiable and secure. Web 3.0 Hackathon is supported by Bybit, BitDAO, Web3 Collective and Blockchain Infrastructure Alliance, which includes established organizations like EthSign, Mask, Torus, Biconomy, Polygon, PingCAP, and Alchemy Pay. The hackathon aims to be a platform that empowers developers to create projects that are innovative, user-friendly and applicable in real-life.
Main Theme：Web3.0
Welcome to the Web3.0 era. Web3.0 is the vision for the next Internet generation which is decentralized, verifiable and secure where users are able to control their own identities, data and destinies. In the present exploration stage of the Web3.0 world, new and exciting things have been created! We have seen how multi-chain decentralized applications (dApps), Metaverse, and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) are slowly shaping the future, which brings our reality closer to the Web3.0 dream. Let’s buidl the future together!
Recommended Track 1：Multichain Dapp
Public chain, side chain, Layer 2 solutions have been on the rise recently, especially with Ethereum network congestion and high gas fees. With the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) as the common standard, it is now even easier for developers to deploy applications. However, current solutions are not so user-friendly with problems such as switching between networks, data issues, native token fees and limited cross-chain liquidity. There is still a huge room for improvement for the development and design of multichain dApps. For this track, you can explore optimizing the user experience of multichain dApps, such as multichain gas fee proxy, cross-chain solutions and many more!

Recommended Track 2：Metaverse Infrastructure**
Communities are moving towards the Metaverse. Virtual land trading, virtual buildings constructions… we have gone beyond the limitations of the physical world and your own imagination! In this track, you can explore creating Metaverse portals, developing virtual worlds and/or building on current Metaverse platforms such as Cryptovoxels, Decentraland, and The Sandbox.
Recommended Track 3: DAO Toolkit
Web 3.0 has enabled the rise of Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), the new (and preferred way) for crypto natives to build and organize truly community-owned communities. What comes next? DAOs would require a full ecosystem which covers wallets, cross platforms integrations, payroll management, resolution management and many more. In this track, you can explore developing various solutions for DAOs such as payroll system, project investment, community management and many more!
