tsParticles 1.18.11 released

What a tsParticles patch release post? Are you crazy?

I don't usually post about tsParticles patch releases, but this time I'll do an exception.

A frequently asked question for tsParticles and particles.js was about using the library without breaking buttons, links, and any other interactive elements of the web page.

Well, thanks to version 1.18.11 this will be a lot easier and many configurations that were not possible before are now possible (Impossible is nothing, anyone?)

How to configure this awesome feature?

Your options will need some updates:

{
  /* your awesome config */
  backgroundMode: {
    zIndex: 100, // any value >= 0 is good
    /* if you want elements above particles
       just set a bigger z-index in your css */
    enable: true
  },
  interactivity: {
    /* if you have detect_on, replace it */
    detectsOn: "window" /* "parent" is still good
                           "canvas" won't work */
  }
}
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode
