The tip on tutorials is a really relevant one. I've definitely been guilty of falling back into the safety blanket of tutorials and guides when I'm hitting my limits in a project. Sometimes I try to keep in mind is that it's too easy to start a dozen guides instead of finishing anything, but I feel that I go much farther in my own knowledge if I achieve the latter.
