What you doing in your free time?

There is only one possible answer to this question and it's "That is none of your damn business, we're done here."

You should expect as much professionalism from an employer as they expect from you, and asking about what you do in your free time like that is about as far from professionalism as it gets. Might as well ask if you're single, while they're at it.

this question will be asked in an HR interview, not a technical one, so what he is looking for is someone who will add new values to the company and someone successful in his own life.

he/she wants to know if you just fit for the culture of the company or not, nothing more, they are not asking a personal question.

this is my opinion.

they are not asking a personal question

What a person does in their free time is absolutely a personal question, and inappropriate for any kind of interview.

If anyone involved in the interview process, specially someone from HR, thinks this sort of question is acceptable, then that's just a massive red flags that invasion of employees' private lives is common practice at that work place. This should be an immediate deal-breaker for any sane person who isn't absolutely desperate for a job.

Now I understand your point of view.

can we change the question to:

what do you do in your free time inside working time?

now I'm entirely confused.

Is it about work time, or about free time?

it's about working time not my life outside work!
why should I tell the interviewer about my free time outside work?!

why should I tell the interviewer about my free time outside work?!

That's exactly my point; to me "free time" is time outside work, but it seems you are referring to time when you don't have anything to do during work hours?

And if you answer that you lost your time with the interview.
Prob they seek for people that are agreable and submisive.
Lost again?
