From capturing directly from code editor I use Polacode.
If I need a specific design for the snippet, I usually use Carbon.sh

I didn't know about Polacode - nice tip! I also use carbon, especially for presentations.
Most of the time when I need to share a code snippet directly from my code base it's for a colleague, so in all honesty I just use slack with the backtick code formatting - it lets them copy and paste too rather than a picture 😊
