For me making an impact is the same as making a choice. You can cause an impact by choosing to do from small to big things. By just asking a question, for example, you can change how someone sees the world, but at the same time, you can keep the person with his/hers previous perspective if you decide not to ask any question at all.
If you are just doing nothing, you're still impacting someone, negativelly maybe, even if that person is just yourself.
So, even if your are activelly doing something right now or not, you're impacting.
As the quote goes: "Not choosing is still a choice".
