I love the dev community! I was hoping the same, and it hasn't disappointed yet. I've joined a couple of discord servers myself, and now I'm trying to build my own up.
Yeah I like the idea of Discord but I think the real-time aspect of it would distract me too much. I like this because I can come and go as I please
That's definitely fair, it certainly isn't for everyone. I love the chat atmosphere of it, makes it feel much more personalized to me.
