Well, been there done that. Visual Studio Code is my favourite IDE. That being said, for certain things and Intellisense in a solution with several projects (Omnisharp can kinda break down on those projects, depending), Visual Studio is still superior.
That and things like .NET MAUI and so on where you dont have all the UI tools Visual Studio has. Once that's available in VS Code, yep, I might switch forever.
Yeah, I still use Visual Studio at work, it's definitely superior for behemoth projects. But for lightweight things and small personal projects I much prefer VS Code.
