Factorio... It has so much crossover to software development which I think is why I find it so compelling.
Had to comment on this too. I think anyone who enjoys and spends a bit of time playing Factorio definitely has the chops and inclination to be a programmer. I actually find Factorio a bit tedious compared to actual programming, but it is fun nonetheless.

This is precisely why my gaming in general has dropped off significantly over the last few years. Coding tends to be a better game.
