Having used Asana quite extensively I think they have a great onboarding experience and give really good examples and tutorials when it comes to transitioning to the platform.
Sure, it offers imports from some other software, but two of the stand out approaches for me, are:
It offers a flexible approach depending on your needs (and where you may have come from). For example, you can have your project displayed in a kanban-style board -- useful if you're transitioning from, say, Trello
It gives examples of how to use those flexible approaches to solve pain points if you've come from another platform.
Finally (echoing some of the other comments), software that, where possible, allows you to build on what you already have is useful and gradually employ more powerful parts of it, rather than overwhelming you all at once.
Anything that introduces loads of friction is going to turn people away.
For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse
We're a place where coders share, stay up-to-date and grow their careers.
